This Privacy Policy describes how Smart Convert (the “App”), developed and operated by Beshoy Adel Saad (the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”), handles information when you use our mobile application on Android (and iOS where applicable).
The App provides media and document conversion tools, optional account features (including a virtual currency “gems”), subscriptions, and advertisements. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
To perform conversions (for example documents, images, audio, or video, depending on features you use), you choose files that are sent to our servers for processing and are used only to deliver the requested output back to you, unless otherwise required by law.
We do not use your files to train public machine-learning models for unrelated purposes. Processing may include automated steps (such as format conversion or text extraction where applicable) necessary to provide the service.
The App may show ads using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). AdMob may use advertising identifiers and related data according to Google’s policies. See Google’s Privacy & Terms and AdMob documentation for details.

We retain personal data as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of data you provided (see Contact). Some information may remain in backups for a limited period before secure deletion.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
If you use the App from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where our service providers (including Google) operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You can stop collection of information through the App by uninstalling it and, where applicable, requesting account deletion.
